The Every School Safe: Creating Welcoming Environments Training Module is intended for all ELAOC students, ACCT Parents of minors, and ACCT minor students. Click the presentation link to access the video. The video will also be archived under the Students Tab of the Home Page under Every School Safe Training Module.

Superintendent Carvalho visited the ELASC campus to officially launch the new school year. He, along with Board Member Dr. Rocio Rivas, toured classrooms, including the Medical Assistant class, where they interacted with the students and observed their activities. Later, they met with the graduates of the ARC-MC3 program to celebrate their achievements and encouraged them to embrace the future with confidence.

ELAOC will offer classes to begin the new school year on August 14, 2025. Classes will be offered on weekday mornings, evenings, and Saturdays. Please refer to the "Schedule of classes" under the Programs tab of the homepage for course offerings and locations.

Families and schools across L.A. are invited to come together for this powerful weekly workshop designed to inform, support, and empower our communities. Developed with the help of trusted nonprofit experts, these sessions cover key topics like legal rights as immigrants, education, housing, health, and more. While not offering legal advice, the workshops provide vital tools, resources, and connections to help families stay prepared and resilient.

Weekly virtual workshops start Friday, August 22, 2025. Morning sessions take place on the 1st and 3rd Fridays* of each month, and evening sessions on the 2nd and 4th Fridays*. For full details and Zoom links, please refer to the flyer.

ELAOC will be offering English as a Second Language classes this fall. Courses like Citizenship, Conversation, Pronunciation, and Medical and Health Preparation. ELAOC proudly celebrated the achievements of its adult learners at the annual Commencement Ceremony, honoring those who completed the High School Diploma and HiSET programs. Graduates, accompanied by family, friends, and faculty, ascended the stage in their caps and gowns, signifying a milestone in their academic journeys. All people in the United States, regardless of immigration status, have certain rights and protections under the U.S. Constitution. The Immigrant Legal Resource Center's (ILRC) Red Cards help people assert their rights and defend themselves in many situations, such as when Immigration, Customs & Enforcement (ICE) agents go to a home.
