General Information
The East Los Angeles Occupational Center is one of 10 adult schools in the Division of Adult and Career Education for the Los Angeles Unified School District that provides pre- and post-secondary education and training opportunities in East Los Angeles and extended areas of Los Angeles County. At ELAOC, students can:
- Learn English as a second language
- Develop basic reading, math, writing and skills
- Earn a high school diploma
- Prepare for the High School Equivalency Exam
- Train for a new career or upgrade skills for an existing career
